What is ThermalEye (X2 + FLIR One Pro sensor)?

The FLIR ONE Pro thermal camera connected to the X2 MR Glasses gives you the power to identify heat sources that are invisible to the naked eye. Whether you need to inspect electrical panels, find the source of HVAC failures, or discover hidden water damage, this combination offers a hands-free AR view with outstanding thermal resolution you need to help you finish the job fast. Identify problems quickly, ensure you repaired them correctly and demonstrate that they have been repaired. Enhanced resolution, enabled through Vivid IRTM, and features such as temperature measurement tools, level/span controls, and high temperature range (up to 400°C for the FLIR ONE Pro) make troubleshooting easier and more accurate. The FLIR ONE App provides a simple user interface with a variety of functions for operating your FLIR ONE device. Add spot measurements, change color palettes, and adjust live settings using the App tools.

HOW TO GET SETUP:

  1. When you receive your ThirdEye smart glasses and FLIR thermal sensor, follow these instructions. First attach the two if they are not attached (link to how to attach)
  2. Turn on the ThirdEye glasses and power on the FLIR
  3. Go to your https://realeye.thirdeyegen.com account from web or phone and sign up if not signed up (either as individual or as the company admin) and select ThermalEye add on. Follow the process to signup.
  4. Open RealEye AI app from your glasses. ThermalEye app will immediately start downloading if you are connected to internet and you will see the app in your glasses. You will now see ThermalEye app show up on the glasses. You can always remove ThermalEye signups via RealEye AI dashboard.
