The screen size is equivalent to a 90-inch high definition screen at 10 feet away.

Can the X2 MR Glasses handle both Augmented and Mixed Reality?

The X2 MR glasses have MR and AR capabilities incorporated through the use of multiple depth sensors and cameras that produce 3-dimensional images.

Do the X2 MR Glasses have GPS capabilities?

The X2 MR glasses have a built-in GPS. It is accurate to within 16 feet, depending on environmental conditions.

Is it possible to connect the X2 MR Glasses with a hardhat?

The X2 glasses will connect to a hardhat with ANSI Z87.1 certification using a connector that can be purchased from ThirdEye.

Are prescription lenses available for ThirdEye smart glasses?

It is recommended to wear contact lenses when using the X2 MR Glasses. Prescription lenses and frames are available from ThirdEye. Please contact sales@thirdeyegen.com to get more information.

What is the resolution on the thermal sensor on the X2 MR Glasses?

It is low resolution 8x8(64-pixel) thermal sensor.

Can you turn off Head Motion User Interface?

There is a voice commend "Head Motion Off" Note: this limits you to voice interaction only.

How long can X2 hold a charge while turned off?

The standby time of the X2 MR Glasses is approximately 150 hours.

How is the head strap used on the ThirdEye smart glasses?

The best way to put on the Smart Glasses is over-the-top with the provided head-strap. As shown in the user guide, place the head-strap near the top of the head (not at the bottom of the back of the head as most people assume). We have found that attaching the head-strap at the top of the head is the most comfortable and easiest to view the display screen.

Do ThirdEye smart glasses support optical or digital zoom?

The built-in color camera has an 8x digital zoom.

Can the X2 glasses be updated?

The glasses are updated via an Over the Air (OTA) update process. Updates can also be performed offline via the USB-C connector.
